Early Years Foundation Stage

A good level of development is defined as children working at the expected standard or exceeding the expected standard in the key areas of literacy, maths, physical development, communication and language, and personal and emotional development

75% (6/8 children) at Broad town School achieved a Good Level of Development.                        This is above the Wiltshire average of 72.3% and the national of 71.8%

Phonics Screening

At Broad Town School, 100% of children achieved the expected standard in phonics. This is above the LA average of 80.1% and the national 81.9%

KS2 SATs

At the end of Key stage 2, the children are assessed on their knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum. The results of the SATs (tests) are reported using a scaled score, where a score of 100 represents the expected standard.

This data shows that Broad Town School Achieved above the Local Authority and National expectation in all subjects. The percentage of children achieving greater depth was inline with national for reading, significantly above national in SPAG and above in maths. We were also above the national average for reading, writing and maths as individual subjects and combined.
