Our Christian Values
Our school is built upon a strong set of Christian values which ensure the children leave our primary school with a caring and respectful attitude towards others and a sense of the importance of building and maintaining positive relationships with those around them regardless of any differences they may have. Our core Christian values are listed below. We also discuss our values at School Council and staff meetings yearly to decide which values we will focus on during the next academic year.
Our value badges were designed by some of the older children in the school. They are presented to children who are living our values through their words and actions.

Collective Worship Areas
Each class has their own colective worship area. This stained glass window is based on the children's favourite bible stories and our school values. It was designed by the children whilst working with Mrs Dutnall. Some children also contributed towards painting elements of the window.
Altar Cloth
We all worked together to create a new altar cloth for our school hall. The children designed an altar cloth for homework and these designs were sent to Elisa Amor, the textile artist who helped us with this project. She chose ideas from many of the children's designs and produced a final design for us to work from. We included Christian symbols and symbols related to our school in our design.
Following advice from the diocese, in 2019 the school community decided on core christian values for our school. Prior to this, our values were decided in consultation with the children at the end of the summer term. We would discuss what values the chidlren thought we should focus on in the next academic year
Many thanks to Rev Rachma for arranging for the chidlren to have the special chicks during the Easter Service. Thank you to Carolyn Crocker and Margaret Green for contributing to the Easter Service and helping with giving out of the Easter chicks.
Ash Wednesday Assembly
During their forest school lesson, the children burnt the palms to make the ashes used in the assembly
