BMX Growth Mindset Workshop
This week we welcomed the return of Mike Mullen from the BMX Academy for an inspirational growth mindset assembly , followed by BMX workshops with all our Year 3 pupils and the rest of the juniors. The assembly included learning about Mike’s journey into BMXing and the important messages of perseverance, determination and learning from failure (‘Flearning’!), as well as a stunt display, which included a jump over Mrs Long! Our Year 3 pupils then put their growth mindsets into action as they learnt some tricks and stunts on the BMXs during their workshops.
Tennis Team Teaching
Class 2 were lucky enough to have a tennis team teaching lesson with Megan, an LTA Accredited Coach. The children practiced their batting, throwing and catching skills.
H5 Adventure Activity Day
The children had an amazing outdoor activity day with H5 Adventure and the rain did not stop the fun. The morning started with caving and then bushcraft were they built a fire and cooked chocolate bananas and popcorn. In the afternoon, the children practiced their archery skills and ended the day on an inflatable obstacle course.
