Broad Town Church of England Primary School

We all worked together to create a new altar cloth for our school hall. The children designed an altar cloth for homework and these designs were sent to Elisa Amor, the textile artist who helped us with this project. She chose ideas from many of the children's designs and produced a final design for us to work from. We included Christian symbols and symbols related to our school in our design.

Elisa spent 3 days with us and showed us how to make our altar cloth. We also had help from Mrs Coulton Weeks and Mrs Raymond. Our new altar cloth is now in our hall and we all think it looks amazing.
